Oceana and Morgan reached out to me the day before their elopement urgently searching for a photographer to capture their sunset elopement. From the moment they reached out, we got along so well and I ensured them that I would be there the following day to document their intimate ceremony!
Lookout Mountain in Chattanooga, Tennessee has several stunning overlooks, however the most popular- Sunset Rock- is almost always busy. After waiting a few minutes to see if parking would come available, I let them know that Sunset Rock was going to be rather difficult to get to in time with the lack of parking. Instead, I recommend Point Park for their elopement, only a few streets over where there wasn’t a single person. This small park right on the edge of the mountain gives you the same exact view as Sunset Rock, but is almost always empty compared to Sunset Rock. Oceana and Morgan agreed, and we met each other at the gate!
We walked over to an overlook with their two sweet pups where the sunset turned the sky into soft pastel colors, they set up a group facetime with their family and friends, and had the most emotional ceremony I’ve witnessed. There were tears, there were laughs, and there was an undeniably amount of love.
